Health Professionals
The Southern Union provides support and consultation to the health professionals in the eight conferences of the Southern Union.
The Southern Union plans and sponsors a Health Professionals’ Retreat on the odd numbered years. Our next Health Professionals’ Retreat will be held at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg, TN, October 8-11, 2009.
Seven hours of continuing education classes will be available for the following health professionals: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, Nurse/Nurse Practitioners, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Health Ministries.
A Friday night vespers service and Sabbath services are planned as part of the retreat. Sabbath School and church is also provided for children and youth of all ages. Sabbath afternoon is open to family time in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. The retreat ends with Sabbath evening vespers.
